What's automated
Objective, Completed, and Blockers are pulled automatically from the week's standups every Thursday at 11:45 CEST (15:15 IST) — 15 minutes before the trios meeting.
What's manual
Next week plan and Related PRDs are always added by hand — the automation leaves them empty on purpose.
Recording absences
Add one line per person to the Absences field: Name: notation. The name must match how it appears in the Slack Activity card. Days are abbreviated to two letters — Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr — with a dash for consecutive days (Mo–Th), a comma for separate days (Mo, Th), or "All week" for the full week. Leave someone out if they weren't absent.
Daily checklist (Thursdays)
- At 11:45 CEST (15:15 IST), the automation fills in the row for this week in the Notion Weekly Reports page (https://app.notion.com/p/wall-street-english/71a6273852d247278ab789c51d9f8a11?v=2bd88cfcb98545dda95c318e1aea796e).
- Review that the information is accurate.
- Once reviewed and edited, change Status to Published so it shows here.
Status
- Auto-generated — fresh from automation, not yet reviewed
- Reviewed — checked and edited, not yet shown to the team
- Published — the finalized version for this week
Editing this row in Notion updates this page the next time it's loaded — no deploy needed.
A note on formatting: Objective, Completed and Blockers keep the formatting you give them in Notion — bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, links, and bulleted lists all carry across to this page. Mentions are the exception: a page, date, or person mention shows here as plain text rather than as a clickable link, so write anything a reader needs to be able to open as a normal link instead.
